《植物科學(xué)中的應(yīng)用》(APPS)是一本月刊，經(jīng)過同行評(píng)審，開放獲取，旨在促進(jìn)在植物科學(xué)的所有領(lǐng)域(包括遺傳學(xué)、結(jié)構(gòu)、功能、發(fā)育、進(jìn)化、系統(tǒng)學(xué)和生態(tài)學(xué))快速傳播新開發(fā)的創(chuàng)新工具和協(xié)議。鑒于當(dāng)今技術(shù)及其在植物科學(xué)中的應(yīng)用進(jìn)展迅速，APPS的目標(biāo)是促進(jìn)植物科學(xué)界之間的交流，促進(jìn)科學(xué)研究。APPS是美國植物學(xué)會(huì)(Botanical Society of America)的出版物，2009年創(chuàng)刊于《美國植物學(xué)雜志》(American Journal of Botany)網(wǎng)絡(luò)版《植物科學(xué)中的AJB入門筆記與協(xié)議》(Primer Notes & Protocols in the Plant Sciences)。

Applications in Plant Sciences (APPS) is a monthly, peer-reviewed, open access journal promoting the rapid dissemination of newly developed, innovative tools and protocols in all areas of the plant sciences, including genetics, structure, function, development, evolution, systematics, and ecology. Given the rapid progress today in technology and its application in the plant sciences, the goal of APPS is to foster communication within the plant science community to advance scientific research. APPS is a publication of the Botanical Society of America, originating in 2009 as the American Journal of Botany's online-only section, AJB Primer Notes & Protocols in the Plant Sciences.
